Hamnevis Privacy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

This page says what data Hamnevis collects about you, why, who it is shared with and for how long. It covers the Hamnevis website, web panel and Chrome extension. This is a translation. The Persian text is the binding version.

Who we are and how to reach us

Hamnevis is run by [نام شرکت], which is responsible for the data on this page. For any question or request about your data, reach us here:

  • Email: [ایمیل]
  • Phone: [تلفن]
  • Address: [نشانی]

What we collect

We collect only what we need to provide Hamnevis:

  • Account data: your phone number, your email or both, and your name. If you use Google, your Google account id and its email.
  • Meeting content: the audio you record or upload, and the Transcript, Summary, title, tags, category and vocabulary made or entered for the Session. Where each participant is recorded separately, their display names stay next to what they said.
  • Device data: the name and last-use time of each extension and web sign-in linked to your account.
  • Technical data: your IP address and browser type, to keep your account safe and limit repeated requests.
  • Payment data: the Invoice, the amount, the payment reference and the masked card number the payment gateway returns. We never see or keep your full card number or its PIN.
  • How you found us: where you heard of Hamnevis (for example a social network or a friend's referral) and the UTM tags of the link you came from.
  • Feedback: the ratings you give Summaries, your answers to announcements and the messages you send to support.

Why we use it

We use your data only for these purposes. Most are needed to run the service you asked for; the rest are for security, the law or making Hamnevis better:

  • Creating your account and signing you in.
  • Running the service: recording, making Transcripts and Summaries, and keeping and showing them to you.
  • Credit accounting: the cost of Sessions, purchases, Invoices and refunds of Credit.
  • Security: stopping fraud, abuse and unauthorised access.
  • Support and fixing errors.
  • Sending sign-in codes and necessary account messages, and announcements in your account's Announcements and, for some, by SMS or email.
  • Overall product figures, such as the number of Sessions and how people found us, to make Hamnevis better.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data or give it to anyone for advertising. To run Hamnevis we work with service providers that process data on our behalf and only for that job. Each gets only the data its job needs:

  • Speech and text processing providers: the audio and text of a Session, to make the Transcript and the Summary.
  • Hosting and storage providers: all the data Hamnevis keeps.
  • SMS and email services: your phone number or email and the text of the message.
  • Licensed payment gateways: the amount and the Invoice number. You pay on the gateway's own page.
  • Google: only if you sign in with your Google account.
  • Analytics tools: page visits, clicks and scrolls, only when they are turned on. In the panel and on the sign-in page, the text of the pages stays hidden from them.

Disclosure required by law

We give data to anyone outside this list only when an order of a competent court or the law requires it, and only as far as it requires.

Where data is processed

The providers that work for us may be inside or outside Iran. We work only with providers committed to keeping data confidential and secure, and send each only the data its job needs.

Cookies

Hamnevis itself sets three cookies that the site needs to work. An analytics or support-chat tool, when turned on, sets its own cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but without the sign-in cookie you cannot sign in.

  • hn_session: your sign-in. It is valid for 30 days and is renewed each time you use it.
  • hn_attr: the source you first came to Hamnevis from. It stays for 30 days.
  • hn_oauth: only while you sign in with Google, and it stays for 10 minutes.

Who sees your Sessions

Your Sessions are private. Only these people see them:

  • You. You see every Session of your account.
  • If you give someone a License, they see only the Sessions recorded with that License's key. You see those Sessions too.
  • The Hamnevis team, only for support, fixing errors and quality checks, and only the team members whose job that is.

How long we keep it

We keep each kind of data only as long as it is needed:

  • Audio: by your setting, one of keep, until the Summary is made, 7 days or 30 days. The default for a new account is 30 days. Audio past its time is deleted every day.
  • You can delete the audio of one Session, or of all your Sessions, at any time.
  • The audio of a Session that is Held for payment is kept until it is processed.
  • Transcripts and Summaries stay for as long as your account exists, even after the audio is gone.
  • A sign-in code is valid for 5 minutes.
  • Payment records are kept for as long as the law requires.
  • When your account is deleted, we delete your data, except what the law requires us to keep.

Your rights and choices

These are up to you:

  • See and correct your name and sign-in methods, in Settings.
  • Change how long audio is kept, in Settings.
  • Delete the audio of one Session or of all Sessions.
  • Disconnect linked extensions and devices, and sign out of all devices.
  • Read the recording consent text again whenever you like, in Settings.
  • Ask for a copy of your data, or for your whole account to be deleted, by email to [ایمیل]. For now you cannot delete your account inside the app, so this is how it is done.

Security

To keep your data safe, we:

  • Encrypt connections to the Hamnevis addresses (HTTPS).
  • Set the sign-in cookie as HttpOnly, so the page's JavaScript cannot read it.
  • Keep sign-in codes and device tokens hashed, not as plain text.
  • Store service keys and passwords encrypted.
  • Limit the team's access to data to what the work needs.
  • Tell you as soon as we can if a breach puts your data at risk.

Children

Hamnevis is not for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this page changes, we change the date at the top. We tell you about important changes before they apply, with an announcement in your account.
